Club Installation

The Rotaract Club of RVCE marks the start of the new Rotary Year and welcomes the incoming Board with the Installation Ceremony.

Blood Donation Camp

The Blood Donation Camp, organized by the Rotaract Club of RVCE, in collaboration with Red Cross Society, Rotary Bangalore South and Rotary Bangalore Spandana, amassed 650 units of blood within 7 hours. Donors included Rotaractors, Rotarians, students, teachers, and community members, showcasing the collective effort to save lives and serve the community.

Fist Full

The Rotaract Club of RVCE, in collaboration with Rotary Bangalore Spandana, conducted Fist Full. Students were asked to set aside a fistful of rice and dal during each meal preparation, and donate it to the cause. During the weeklong collection phase, 6700+ kg of Rice and 800+ kg of Toor Dal was collected. Seven service organisations were each benefitted with hundreds of kilos of rice and toor dal.

Paper Drive

Rotaract Club of RVCE successfully organized Paper Drive, engaging 400+ volunteers to collect over 8.17 tonnes of newspaper in 9 hours. The volunteers visited 15,000 residential flats covering various areas, including Nagasandra, Koramangala, and Indiranagar. The initiative aimed to support orphanages and underprivileged individuals with funds, raised from selling collected newspaper. Student participated received 10 AICTE activity points.

Fast Trek

Fast Trek, a flagship event by the Rotaract Club of RVCE, drew over 600 college students for a cleanliness drive during a scenic trek at Narayangiri Betta. Starting at 7:30 AM, participants revealed breathtaking views, ensuring a memorable event. Additionally, participants earned 10 AICTE activity points.

Awaaz

An event conducted by the club, creates over 600 audiobooks in nine languages for visually impaired children. Distributed to NGOs nationwide, these resources promote inclusive education and equal opportunities.

Akshara

The Rotaract Club of RVCE organized Akshara, an educational event with sessions on Mathematics, Science, English, and Kannada. Using real-life examples, visual aids, fun tricks, and videos, volunteers made learning engaging and accessible. Beyond academics, they built students’ confidence, encouraged curiosity, and formed meaningful connections. The students’ enthusiasm and volunteers’ dedication made Akshara a memorable day of shared growth, learning, and joy.

Naivedyam

Rotaract Club of RVCE conducted Naivedyam, a food drive, held in collaboration with 21 clubs across the globe. It showcased the impact of compassion and collaboration in addressing hunger. With a collective effort, we provided nourishing meals to over 1300 individuals in Bengaluru, Belgaum, Coimbatore, Chennai, Sangli, Hyderabad, Nepal and Sri Lanka highlighting the importance of teamwork in ensuring access to a warm meal.

Uptown Junk

The Rotaract Club of RVCE hosted Uptown Junk, engaging over 400 students in a treasure hunt and a "Best Out of Waste" competition using auctioned materials and "Rota Money". Top teams were rewarded for innovative models based on creativity, presentation, and utility. Participants received 8 AICTE activity points.

Hello! Grandparents

Hello! Grandparents, organized by the Rotaract Club of RVCE on Grandparents' Day, celebrates the special bond between generations. Volunteers engage with grandparents at old age homes, making the day memorable for all involved.

Rush Hours

Rush Hours, a five-day mega-event, offered participants respite from daily stress. With community service and professional development tasks, the event involved over 450 participants in challenging activities, culminating in team eliminations. Top 3 teams, rewarded with OTT subscriptions and prizes, celebrated both fun and societal impact. Additionally, students earned up to 15 AICTE points throughout the event.

Vision

The Rotaract Club of RVCE conducted Vision, visiting BET Convent, Kengeri PU College, Priyadarshini Vidya Kendra, Nehru Memorial School, and Radakrishna School to interact with students of classes 10 to 12. The sessions guided them through science, commerce, and humanities streams and related career paths. Volunteers shared their experiences, exam insights, and college journeys, making the discussions informative, relatable, and impactful for the students.

Secret Santa

The Rotaract Club of RVCE, through Secret Santa, spread Christmas joy by visiting Jana Seva Samruddhi Education Trust, Samartha Trust, Anand Marga Children's Home, Swavalambi Trust and Sree Manukula Charitable Foundation. The day was filled with sweets, dancing, and learning, highlighting the impactful support provided to these children.

Sparkles

With a heartfelt mission to share the spirit of Diwali, the Rotaract Club of RVCE brought light and love to the Suprabha Educational and Charity Trust. Volunteers from the club dedicated the day to spreading festive cheer through games, laughter, and music, culminating in a lively dance session that filled the room with joy. The Rotaractors also brought gifts for the children, including sweets and essential items.

Muskaan

It's heartening to hear that participants are spreading the spirit of gratitude beyond the event itself. The act of mentioning three friends on instagram and then seeing others join in to form a chain reaction not only amplifies the impact of the event but also fosters a sense of community and interconnectedness. It's a beautiful example of how small gestures can spark big waves of positivity and appreciation.

Raabta

Held on May 15th, the International Day of Families, Raabta is a heartwarming event organized to celebrate the bond of love within families. Participants take the opportunity to express gratitude and interact with their beloved family members, fostering connections and spreading love. Through engaging activities and heartfelt conversations.

Eye Checkup Camp

The Rotaract Club of RVCE, in collaboration with Agarwal Eye Hospitals, organized a free Eye Checkup Camp in the college. Experienced doctors conducted checkups for over 600 attendees, including students and staff. The event concluded with a closing ceremony, honoring doctors and hospital staff with saplings.

22 Yards

22 yards, an online event organized by the club brings together all the cricket enthusiasts who cheer for their team in the extremely engaging IPL season by supporting them through our Instagram stories.

Registration Drive

The Registration Drive organized by the club attracted a significant turnout, introducing a new cohort of members to the Rotaract RVCE family. Over the course of a week-long drive, registration desks were set up on campus, resulting in a successful induction of a substantial number of new members with the dedicated efforts of board members and volunteers. As a gesture of goodwill, participants received coupons and gift vouchers at the conclusion of the registration process.

Mega Letterhead Exchange

The Rotaract Club of RVCE participated in an Offline Mega Letterhead Exchange, with 17 other Rotaract Clubs from the Delhi region (RID 3011 & 3012) fostering strong inter-club connections. Through the symbolic exchange of letterheads, members forge meaningful connections, enriche inter-club relations, and reinforce a unified vision for impactful community service.

Big Shot

RaC RVCE collaborates with an Indian fintech company to host an annual virtual stock market simulation competition for students. Participants trade with virtual currency over 4 days on the StockGro app, aiming to generate the highest profit. Winners receive prizes from a Rs 2500 pool, offering insight into stock market dynamics.
